Pilates, or The Pilates Method, is known for a “mind-body” approach to fitness.  This discipline is appropriate for many fitness levels, from the novice to the athlete, because of its ability to be modified based on the strength of the client.  The goal of the mat class is to achieve an overall workout focused on strengthening, stretching, balance, core stability, and alignment.


BUFF BONES

Buff Bones® is a medically endorsed workout that combines Pilates, functional movement, strength training, and therapeutic exercise with bone strengthening and balance techniques to optimize the health and safety of your bones. The workout follows a research supported design of specifically sequenced exercises, making it an entire system of bone and joint health, rather than just a set of exercises. Toning your arms, hips, back and abs, the Buff Bones® system also improves posture, is adaptable to varying levels, and is even safe for those with osteoporosis.

That’s why we have given you over 30 classes a week to choose from. When you are a member, they are included. These classes will either relax you (ahh Yoga), get your heart rate up (Cycle, anyone?) or prove to you that you are stronger than you think (try BODYPUMP ™ or TRX Suspension Training ®, we dare you). Our classes are built for all levels, all the time. Our talented instructors will welcome and encourage you to go at your own pace. Whether it is setting the right seat height in Cycle, or modifying a pose in Pilates, our team will respect your limitations while empowering you with what you can accomplish. But be forewarned – you might just get hooked.
